I made a progress gif! Random Aside: Stiffler doesn’t trace anything to create any art, as a rule — the inner and outer architecture of the house is all completely original linework (and design) done by hand with pencil, which just makes people like me shake their heads slowly in disgust.
Also, if you haven’t heard of it:Lazy Nezumi is an awesome program that makes digital inking and coloring a breeze. I recommend buying it — the settings in the Pro version are really much better than the trial version and can be formatted to whatever tablet you’re using. Happy Arting and I hope you enjoy this very blood Valentine page. <3
I keep bugging Stiffler about this story (excitement, excitement, excitement!) and we’ve been fleshing out the characters and world together. It’s not the first queer story I’ve written, but I can definitely say it will be one I’m deeply proud of.
Supergirl, Storm, and Wonder Woman fell fashion victims to my warm-up sketching. There’s probably some kind of cardinal rule against mixing DC and Marvel characters, but I live life dangerously.
Random Spouse Insight into the Costume Redesigns: Wonder Woman was designed wearing a stylized bulletrpoof vest, as well as her bulletproof gauntlets extending, and bulletproof boots/neck brace! Supergirl was designed to be more practical since she already has amazing powers, but the cape was changed into a hoodie (that I fucking want). Storm is by far my favorite, with a plumed fabric wrap-around that is supposed to be able to extend in high winds and otherwise ribbed armor that’s reminiscent of the new skydiving/base jumping suits. I really want all of these costumes, is what I’m saying.
